The technology of the G15 Iron provides the high-launching, maximum forgiveness attributes that bring consistency to your iron play. The stainless steel iron's cavity design features a new Custom Tuning Port (CTP) which expands the perimeter weighting and increases the moment of inertia.
Weight savings from a thinner face is re-positioned to the toe for added forgiveness on mis-hits and its wider sole produces a higher launch angle. Stronger lofts combine with a center of gravity located low and farther from the face to produce longer shots without sacrificing the higher trajectory required in a maximum forgiveness iron.
New Custom Tuning Port (CTP)
A reshaped and repositioned CTP saves seven grams which is allocated to the perimeter to increase the moment of inertia. Teh new design also provides the proper structure and support behind a thinner face to ensure consistent distance control and a solid feel.
Wide Sole
A wide sole positions the center of gravity lower and farther back to increase the launch angle for higher flying, longer carrying shots. The sole geometry is designed to ensure a smooth transition through the turf.

5 iron
I ordered a replacement for my Ping G15 5 iron and my Ping G15 pitching wedge which are clubs that I use a lot. The brand new replacements works great. Morton Golf Sales has a been a great company to do business with. The whole process is easy and fast and has allowed me to get some more time with irons that I hit well. At some point I will move on to a new set of irons, but in the meantime I can replace the irons as they wear out.

Perfect replacement
These irons were exactly as advertised. I order a 3 & 4 iron because the set I bought several years ago didn’t have them. The only thing that was different was the shaft version is 2.0 now. Which isn’t a big deal. The best part is you get brand new iron directly from Ping for less than you could by a used G15 3 & 4 iron!

great club at great price
I just replaced my ping g15 sand wedge through Morton sales. I have already upgraded my irons to the ping Karsten ( through Morton also) but still love that trustry g15 sand wedge from my old set. There are not many dealers that will get you replacement irons from ping , but Morton does and the price was great. I might just need to replace this one in 3 years again ...
